CHARLOTTE, NC – After earning the first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week award in 2026, Allen Community College freshman Maurice Conner has been named the NJCAA Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for week three of the 2026 season.

Conner ran the NJCAA's top time in the 60 meters to open his season at the Friends University First-Chance Qualifier, winning the 90-runner event and easily surpassing the NJCAA qualifying mark of 6.82 seconds for the event.
