CHARLOTTE, NC ? Results across Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play last week have led to some movement for schools within the week three NJCAA Division 1 and Division 2 women?s soccer top 20 polls as four of this week?s six ranked teams have different rankings from the week prior.

Three of the six changes come within the newest NJCAA Division 1 women?s soccer top 20 poll as Cowley College is rewarded for their win over Hutchinson last week by moving up three spots into the top 10 at number eight, as the Tigers are off to a 2-0-1 start this season. The Blue Dragons, meanwhile, see a one-spot drop from number 12 down to number 13 after suffering their first setback of the season, which was followed by an 8-0 road shutout over Coffeyville. New to the poll this week is Garden City Community College, jumping in for the first time at number 20 after defeating previously ranked Butler 1-0 followed by a 2-1 road win at Dodge City as the Broncbusters are 7-0-1 this season with a 2-0-0 mark in conference play.

As for the NJCAA Division 2 women?s soccer poll, Johnson County continues to hold steady at number two in the poll after earning a 3-0 home win over Allen and a 5-0 road win at St. Louis Community College last week to run their record to 6-0-0 overall. The Cavaliers have allowed just one goal this season, outscoring opponents 20-1. Just outside the top 10 of the poll is Kansas City Kansas Community College at number 11 after dropping one spot this week following wins over Pratt and Central Community College out of NJCAA Region 11. Allen remains ranked at number 20 this week, bouncing back from their loss to Johnson County with an 8-0 win over Allen to pick up their first NJCAA Region 6/9 win of the season.

A match between Highland and Johnson County will kick off the week?s schedule, followed by seven matches on Wednesday as part of a busy week of action. Two ranked matchups are part of this week?s schedule, starting Wednesday with Kansas City Kansas hosting Allen before seeing Garden City host Cowley on Saturday afternoon in a ranked D1 matchup. Of the 16 total matchups, 13 of the matchups will be played between conference schools, with two more taking place between as part of the NJCAA Region 6/9 Division 2 schedule.
