Andi Dowell received KJCCC All-Conference Honorable Mention and District N Second Team honors. Dowell greatly deserved these honors as the Devil's go-to outside hitter. She finished the season with 3.44 kills per set, putting her 4th in the conference and 22nd in the nation. Dowell also was 9th in the conference and 33rd in the nation for total kills, earning 382.
Not only was Dowell a threat on the front row, but also was strong in the back row totaling 280 digs with 2.52 digs per set.
Dowell is the first freshman to earn any honors since Coach Shaw has been with the program. "Andi worked extremely hard during the season and I'm so glad that it paid off for her in the end," said Shaw. "I look forward to watching her grow in the spring and do even bigger things next year."
